About Future Wireless Communications

The FWC program is a specialized certificate program focused on both the hardware and software aspects of 5G and 6G R&D. The course is conducted by IIIT-Bangalore and the IIITB COMET Foundation , under the aegis of the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) initiated by the Department of Science and Technology (DST).

Our Vision

To be the pioneering centre for Advanced Communication Systems research and development, creating globally competitive technologies and highly skilled manpower in 5G and beyond wireless domains. Our goal is to position India as a global leader in CPS technologies. We are dedicated to fostering a vibrant ecosystem of innovation, driving indigenous technology development, and translating cutting-edge research into sustainable, real-world applications.
